Non-canon biography points of Fergus:

Fergus Cousland is the current Teyrn of Highever. He is the eldest child of Eleanor and Bryce Cousland. He is the widow of Orianna, and son of Oren Cousland. Due to his loss of his wife and supposed parents, he slowly became an alcoholic. However, with the assistance of his Advisor and Commander of Highever's Forces: Sierra Valmont, he slowly got out of his addiction.

When the Blight was over, Fergus helped to restore what was lost during the War. He began with restoring Highever, then assisted Denerim, afterwards helping Lothering.

When Fergus was reunited with his son, Oren, he was pleased. Throughout the years, he was searching for his son as his body was never found. He had hope that he was still alive.

Months after, he was visited by his parents; Bryce and Eleanor. They stayed in Highever with him, being advisors to him as he continues to reign as Teyrn of Highever.

Non-canon biography points of Bryce:

Bryce Cousland is the father of Fergus Cousland, and the Hero of Ferelden. He is the husband to Eleanor Cousland, father-in-law to Orianna Cousland and Grandfather to Oren Cousland. He was the former Teyrn of Highever before the betrayal of Rendon Howe and the Monoplegia injury to his left leg. He helps his son, Fergus, as an advisor to help him reign as Teryn.

During the night of the attack, Bryce and Eleanor escaped with an inch of their lives. On their journey of getting as far away from Castle Highever, they came across a mage who healed them of their wounds. Unfortunately, Bryce sustained an Monoplegia injury which caused him to have his left leg nearly useless.

Bryce and Eleanor fled to Amaranthine so the two wouldn't have to worry about Howe's goons finishing the job. After the Blight and the death of Rendon Howe was confirmed, they returned to Ferelden to reunite with their children.
